Poem
We are living in an era, where technology is everything
From morning to night and all over, machines are leading.
Communication, once bound by distance,
Now flows freely, with no resistance.
Advantages plentiful, yes, it is a gift,
Simplifying your routine as well as giving us a lift.
So let us embrace this technological tide,
With gratitude and wonder, side by side.
We can’t imagine our life not even a single moment,
But it also made us paralyzed and extremely dependent.
To start from thinking to writing all around is artificial intelligence,
Gradually we are losing our logical power and patience.
We the generation want everything short and fast,
So, we can’t waste a jiffy on building trust.
Playing games on mobile rather than on a field,
Hi hello only in the app, and we forget friendships to build.
In the virtual world so active but disconnected from the reality,
The disease is incurable which eliminates creativity.
Be careful not to let technology overwhelm you,
It can make you grow as well as destroy you.
Be creative and take command of your life like a star,
Because your intelligence will always be there.
Introduction:
When we talk about technology, what we mean is the practical application of scientific knowledge. Technology is the science that combines theoretical knowledge with greater work-centeredness in the predominance of special mental abilities.
In this blog post, we aim to explore the impact of technology on real activity and delve into how they intersect to drive innovation, productivity, and overall progress in today’s society.
Technology became an integral part of our daily lives, changing the way we communicate, work, and even entertain ourselves. Technology has provided us with numerous advantages that have simplified and enhanced various aspects of our everyday routines from smartphones to laptops, smart home devices and virtual assistants.
For instance, according to a recent study, 81% of adults in the United States own a smartphone and in 2023, 71 percent of people in India had a smartphone, and it was estimated that by the year 2040, 96 percent of people would have one. It is highlighting the widespread adoption and reliance on technology in our society. This number demonstrates how technology has seamlessly integrated into our lives, allowing us to stay connected with others, access information instantaneously, and perform tasks more efficiently than ever before.
Advantage:
We can see that technology has changed the whole scenario of various industries such as healthcare, education, and business and hence we see a huge improvement in the quality of life for individuals as well as in society. From online medical consultation to online learning platforms providing everywhere we can witness the advancement and accessible education with technology has opened up new opportunities and possibilities for personal growth and development.
With smartphones and social media platforms, people can now connect instantly and effortlessly, regardless of their geographical location. This has not only transformed personal relationships but also changed the way businesses communicate with their customers.
Enhanced collaboration and information sharing across different locations and time zones
Facilitation of cross-cultural communication and understanding through translation tools and social media platforms. Additionally, advancements in communication technology have improved the form of video conferencing and virtual meetings and eliminated the need for costly travel to connect with the world.
Integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to optimize decision-making processes and improve overall efficiency. Utilization of cloud computing and remote access capabilities, allowing for seamless collaboration and increased productivity regardless of physical location.
Technology made easy access to telemedicine and remote healthcare services as well as integration of technology in medical devices for better patient monitoring and care.
Disadvantage:
However, it is important for us to admit that alongside these advantages there are also several disadvantages that arise from our increasing dependency on technology. Technology breakthroughs are causing both development and disaster. Technology is saving us time but pushing us away from self-reliance. Gradually, humans are increasingly succumbing to the dominance of technology. Recent technologies like AI are slowly making everyone disabled. People are losing their own creativity.
Excessive screen time and dependence on technology can contribute to a sedentary lifestyle, leading to an increased risk of obesity and related health issues such as heart disease and diabetes.
The constant use of technology can negatively impact mental health and contribute to feelings of social isolation, as individuals may prioritize virtual interactions over real-life connections. Increased feelings of loneliness and isolation as a result of limited physical interactions. Now commonly it can be seen that difficulty in establishing and maintaining genuine emotional connections with others is due to the lack of nonverbal cues and personal touch.
Most concerning is that excessive screen time and prolonged use of technology can also lead to eye strain and sleep disturbances. Moreover, constant exposure to digital devices may contribute to poor posture and musculoskeletal problems, such as neck and back pain.
Conclusion:
Technology and real activity play crucial roles in shaping our modern world. From enhancing communication and efficiency to revolutionizing industries, these two elements have become integral to our daily lives. Engaging in offline hobbies and interests is crucial for personal growth and well-being. It allows individuals to explore their passions, develop new skills, and find a sense of fulfillment outside of the digital world. Offline hobbies also provide a much-needed break from the constant stimulation of technology, allowing individuals to recharge and reconnect with themselves and their surroundings. So we need to pay attention to this aspect so that we do not depend on technology alone and try to flourish our knowledge more.
